In 2022 as part of a collaborative initiative with NCAD, Alternus Energy ran a Partnership Award Scheme for NCAD students focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goal 11: sustainable cities and communities. This goal was chosen as it is a reflection of the climate change crisis and how it impacts our planet. The concept was to take defunct Solar Panels and give them new life as works of art.
My concept for the Solar Panel project focused on creating a narrative around pollution and climate change, which I presented as a sequential art piece inspired by stained glass illustrations.
